yea my deck runs 2 landscapes and 8 creatures. 4 being 5 cost cards, 2 being mid cost cards (however now i use a black card of both types instead) and 2 being nice ice babies. I run a 17 card deck i think.
all other cards are magic adding or for drawing. 3/4 times i have 2-4 of my 5 cost cards out turn 2 or 3 (50% of time on turn one i have 1+ out too)
i did add my ghost castle, a candy igloo and a ufo to maximize use of igloo's glitch lately tho. (my characters are all lv12-14, so games go fast. I always make sure to get a 10 trophy opponent. Usually they are lv17-20)
So that was my decks strategy. If it doesnt glitch me i win 98+% of the time, lately if i pass on turn one with no creatures it freezes. So my record for last tourney was something like 90 wins and 10 losses, and all but one loss were due to turn one glitch. Also, i had same win% before use of black cards, i have a flufapiller and eye guy from last nite.

As for strategy for winning the tourneys. I have played in 4 of which ive won 2. I dont cheat either, id feel too bad if i couldnt win on my own accord, even if im fairly sure they themselves have cheated.
OF the 4 tourneys i entered 2 at 3 days remaining, 1 at 7 days and 1 at 24 hours. I won the 7 day and one fo the 3 days. On the 7 day one i played through my hearts once a day and stopped just shy of first place til last day. Where i played trhough all but 8 hears, beat my next quest and played through them again in the last 30minutes of tourney. Was very close, considered using a gem to get a few more in.
The 3 day one i won i had to play through my hearts twice a day and 3 times on the last day. (more games played than 7 day one.)
on the last day tourney the guy i got matched with had over 200 trophies when i checked 15minutes into getting matched, and the 3 day one i lost 1st place had 200 trophies by the end.
Personally i think anytime in second week is good. Its all luck about who you get matched with. If you need to set your alarm about every 10 hours and play through your hearts.
